INTERNET, OFFICE AUTOMATION AND PRINTING
The multimedia libraries offer free access to computers and WIFI.
They also offer a fee-based photocopying and printing service.
Workshops and individual or group training to learn how to use digital tools (mastering the basics of computing, online administrative procedures, an introduction to programming, etc.) are regularly organised: you can consult the programme in the cultural agenda
Computers
In each multimedia library, there are computers that allow you to surf the Internet, use office tools (LibreOffice), print documents and use a USB key. To use them you must have a Pass'relle card or an internet card. Legal guardians are fully responsible for minors using computers. These free access workstations can also be booked on site or by telephone for up to 1 ½ hours per week in 30-minute slots. Any delay of more than 10 minutes on a reserved workstation will result in the reservation being automatically cancelled.
You may use your own laptop computer. Some multimedia libraries have sockets for this purpose (please contact a member of staff for further information).
PRINTERS AND PHOTOCOPIERS
It is possible to print in black and white from the computers and photocopiers in all multimedia libraries except for the one in Elsau and the mobile Bibliobus library.
There is a charge for printing and photocopying. Cards are valid throughout the network and available at the following rates: 1 unit: €0.15, 20 units: €1.40, 50 units: €2.55, 100 units: €4.50, 250 units: €10.50, 500 units: €20.50
WIFI
The Straswifi network is available free of charge in all multimedia libraries in the city and the Eurométropole of Strasbourg. To access it, please select the StrasWifi network, provide an email address and accept the general conditions of use. This gives you unlimited access to the network for one year.
