What can I borrow? How long can I borrow it for? And what happens if I return it late? Read all about the multimedia libraries' loan rules!
The Pass'relle card allows you to borrow items in all multimedia libraries belonging to the Pass'relle network.
The following loan rules apply to multimedia libraries in the City and the Eurométropole of Strasbourg.
For municipal multimedia librearies,please refer to their individual loan terms and conditions.

BORROWING DIGITAL BOOKS
Digital books can only be borrowed by the holders of a valid Pass'relle membership card.
If your Pass'relle membership card was issued to you in one of the 21 multimedia libraries or municipal libraries, you simply need to register with one of the multimedia libraries of the City and the Eurométropole of Strasbourg by showing your Pass'relle card and valid ID. This process is free. It will also allow you to access the press and online training resources, and borrow items from these libraries.
RETURNING LOANED DOCUMENTS
Documents loaned by one particular multimedia libraries in the City and the Eurométropole of Strasbourg can be returned to either one of them.Some multimedia libraries have drop box
Remember to return your documents on time; other members are waiting for them!
In case of delay
If the return date of one of your documents has been exceeded, you will not be allowed to borrow, renew or reserve other documents until the late document(s) has/have been returned.
You can view the status of your loans via your reader account on this website.
In case of loss or damage
You will be liable for the cost of replacing lost or damaged documents according to the fixed rates set by decree.
MONITORING YOUR ACCOUNT
Monitoring your account
By logging into your reader's account, you can view the list of items you have borrowed and their return date, renew their loan period, or make and track reservations.You can also share your account with a third party (children, spouse, etc.) for easier management.
Renewing your loan period
You can renew the loan period of a document for a period of 28 days provided it has not been reserved by another user, that you have valid membership and that you do not have any overdue loans. Renewals can be requested on site at the library, by telephone or online through your reader account.
Please note : The return date is renewed for 4 weeks from the return date determined at the time of the loan, regardless of the date on which the renewal is requested.
Reserving a document that is already on loan
If a document is already on loan by another user, you can reserve it provided you have valid membership, that you have no overdue loans and that the document has not already been reserved by 4 other users.
You can reserve up to 5 documents.
Reservations can be made on site at your library, by phone or online through your reader account.
Please note : A reserved document must be collected from the library to which it belongs. When the document is available, you are informed by e-mail or post, and you have two weeks to collect it. After this period, the document is put back on the shelf, or made available to the next user who has reserved it.
